I’m a Fan of Watertowers

Whether it is this rather odd looking one in Mannheim-Straßenheim

or the more traditional one in Weinheim or even the rather modern and colourful one in Schifferstadt.

The watertower in Ladenburg stands close to the river Neckar

but all of them can be seen from far away.

Some are quite beautiful like this one in Schierstein and the one surrounded by the Christmas market is one of the landmarks of Mannheim.
