Another fallout from the Mannheim winter lights of years gone by.
The Penguins of Ma … Ma … Mannheim. They were in Mannheim.
And that is another penguin in almost Mannheim (in Ladenburg). He isn’t as shiny but he is (partly) green.

Oh wow! Are these light penguins decorations for Christmas? I’ve only been once/twice to the Christmas market there, can’t recall exactly in which year though and liked the fairy tales setup there.

The Luisenpark in Mannheim puts on a light installation during January and February (they did before COVID at least). They vary the images, although some are similiar each year because they use the fixed sculptures and trees etc. and incorporate them in the installations. I just read that there will be no winter lights this year because the park and the city are preparing for the “Bundesgartenschau”, the national horticultural show in 2023.
