Noooooo! It’s carnival (aka Fasnacht, Karneval, Fassenacht, Fasnet, Fasching, Fastnacht …). It’s a photo fresh from this afternoon, from the corso of a small town in a wine growing area (they throw sweets for the kids, fill up your wine glass, and explicably threw packets of kleenex into the crowd as well).

Of corse. I should have guessed – except about the Kleenex. That’s weird.

The kids collected them along with the sweets and had a lot of fun at throwing them at each other shouting “Helau!” pretending to be in the corso. 😀
