Henry has found a new hobby: movies for cats on youtube. Much better than watching himself in the mirror (last month’s last on the card photo). PS: Note to self: I need to enlarge my subject content.

My rescue orchids have mieliebugs. I haven’t decided yet whether it’s time for a clean-up or a purge. PS: It’s ironic that those pests carry the same last name in German as I do.

Yes I must agree. Did you try this
Soap will suffocate mealybugs. Combine 1 tablespoon of washing up liquid with a litre of water (I think that’s the ratio) and spray down your plant. Test the spray on one leaf before applying to the rest, and repeat every few days until they are gone

I’ve done a half purge now. I’ll keep the ones that are least affected. But I feel really bad about getting rid of the others. I’m a bad plant mama…
