
Henry needs his space (and his box).

This is Sami, short for Samuel, and he is Captain Spiridon’s cat at Marathi Beach in Crete.
When Spiridon docks his boat at Marathi he calls out to Sami and the cat comes, takes his food and water, and then lies on the boat totally trusting that none of the tourists surrounding him will step on him.

Henry, our cat, confronts me. When he is hungry, when he wants to be left alone, when he doesn’t want to be left alone, when he wants to cuddle (seldom), when he doesn”t want to cuddle (more often), when I try to brush him, when he brings a mouse, when he doesn’t bring a mouse … He doesn’t hold back with his opinions.
