In this case, particularly the hat doth the making. And the times define the clothes. But what if the clothes don’t fit in the times? Does that make the man anachronistic all by himself?

It’s basically a hat with a large round brim and the sides and back are folded up. So that they stay up they are fastened with a button. … PS: It’s not my style.
