It’s a him, a tom. And we have avoided sitting on him up to now but there have been a few close calls. – There is a children’s book series out called “Winnie and Wilbur” about a witch and her – do you have to ask – black cat. In the first book of the series Winnie keeps sitting on and tripping over her cat because she lives in an all-black house. Then she decides to colour him which distresses Wilbur very much. No spoilers about the outcome. 😸
