Pentecost weekend is excursion time for many Germans. If the weather plays along – all the better. The three cyclists certainly liked it that way.
For some the destination was the Bienenmarkt (bee market) in Michelstadt, the biggest county fair in the Odenwald. Locally it has the reputation of being a “puddle party” because of the traditionally wet weather. As you can see, tradition was not followed this year, and three cabins of the ferris wheel prove the point.

Great trios Elke. I’m a fan of poppies as well but we don’t see them in the wild here. They are mostly in peoples’ gardens.
