      1. Thanks Elke. All the rage in the 60’s and 70’s could buy them cheap. Now the original Kombis are quite expensive, more than their original show room price!!

      4. I wasn’t quite sure so I checked up. First, the writing is Bulli with an i. The origin is not quite clear, some believe it is a portmanteau made up of “bus” and “Lieferwagen” (a panelwvan), others (me) think it has to with the chunky form. It is really a term of endearment, no association with bullying at all.
