It’s a photo from last weekend. I was at a camp out on the outskirts of the Black Forest. The skies were blue and during the day it was quite warm in the sunshine. As soon as one cloud moved in front of the sun, or we ran in the shade of the forest it was immediately cool. And I almost froze the tip of my nose at night – basically the only thing sticking out of the sleeping bag.

Looks like you had a lot of fun 😃

Yes, we did. Although I am not as good sleeping on the ground with air mattresses anymore.

It is the same here now except for the cold in the shade during the day. I still have my winter doona on the bed

We have a very warm October (mid 20s Celsius!) but the days are really crisp which I prefer to balmy. And so far I’ve been wearing shorts (even to school, to some raised eyebrows but I couldn’t care less) but I refuse to let go of summer and summer attire even if it is rather nippy in the mornings on my bicycle.

I hope the shorts were of an appropriate length 😲

Such a perfect day to be enjoyed outside, especially next to a forest.
This looks so amazing wonderful.
Thank you so much for sharing this with my challenge 🙂

It’s the nose exposed that smells the morning coffee and bacon first. 😊
