For various reasons I have not taken many photographs this November and I feel as if I’m missing out on the faboulous colours sported by leaves in autumn. So why not catch up a bit?

Single leaves take centre stage.
A cascade of leaves with brown bark as a backdrop.

But why stick with autumn? Late summer has orange and brown to show as well. Be it with rose hips or –

sunflowers and bees.

Talking about sunflowers it’s not a big leap to the real sun. Vibrant orange moving towards darker hues to brown (and later black).

Artists have always seen the beauty of sunsets as in this large mural on the side of a house.
A non-sunset mural, orange and brown nevertheless.

More natural orange and brown in this portrait of an old ganter.

Not the same species, not the same body parts but another bird featuring orange and brown.
Had enough? Pour yourself a brown or a peach coloured bubbly.
