Last on the SC card of my phone. My sister had asked me for our mum’s special Christmas cooky recipe. Since I have her recipe book (the edition of 1936) I just photographed it and send it to her. Some things have become easier with technology.

No problem, Margaret. My mother made sure I could read Fraktur, Sütterlin and Kurrentschrift. Our hymn books when still went to church looked like that.

These are so good Elke. I just love the shirt, not my sort of fashion though. I think one of my sisters ended up with Mums cookbook but no one knows where it is.
