In some parts of Germany it is called the 5th season. Windows are used to decorate the route of the parade and bunting is strung across the street form window to window.
This is from Abtsteinach, a small town in the Odenwald, which is known for it’s “Fasnachtsumzug”.

🤡🤠🥳🤓 yeah! One of the best costumes I saw was a fairly tall man dressed like a tube of mustard: extra hot!
