Some sounds are so soft they need amplification. Some sounds don’t need it but use it nevertheless:

in churches, in mosques, in forests, in vineyards.
Some sounds though are loud AND need amplification. I’m talking about the emergency sirens which are tested every few month but are meant to warn about natural and man-made catastrophes.

They are very loud so I am tempted to point to this traffic sign:
Just in case that through all this sound we might not hear the warning sound that really is important, like this rattle:

oh my, I didn’t need you that close to the rattler! A great shot. What a great idea to bring in necessary sounds like the sirens. The “no music” sound made me laugh. Seems silly, but guess it is about paying attention to surroundings. I think we should have those on our hiking trails. Maybe people WOULD hear the rattles.

No free range rattles here, thank you. 😀 It’s from a zoo and I was amazed the picture quality I got through not-so-clean windows. And the sign is from the local park (small castle gardens). When I was little we weren’t even allowed to leave the paths, nowadays people have picknicks there and it really is disturbing if every party blasts their own music. Thanks for your comments.
