This school in Mannheim, Germany was built around the turn of the last century as a so-called Volksschule. In the 1970s it was changed into a Gymnasium, (i.e. a place to exercise young minds and not bodies).


In the early days they had separate entrances for girls (Mädchen) and boys (Knaben).
Just opposite these entrances there was a small utility building with a telling graffito:
Judging by the moss on the building – the answer is: No.
