It’s so much more Fun at Night

Last weekend the first fair of the year was held in our area. I’m not a fan of fun rides but the grandson is. Which leaves me holding the phone (as well as the purse strings). What else can I do but take photos?

      1. Not here. Hamburgers are seldom on offer. There are the traditional sausages and steaks and stuff but it’s gone very international: crêpes (savoury as well as sweet), Hungarian langos, Finnish salmon, pizza and garlic bread varieties, Belgian chips or potatoes cut in spirals and served on sticks, large freshly baked Bretzel … on fair days I won’t cook.

  1. It is not fun, I was never keen as a kid either. It might have something to do with my much elder brothers holding me by the ankles until Mum couldn’t stand my noise which became louder as more blood rushed to my head and made them put me down.
