If you’ve ever seen runner ducks you know that they are the epitome of “moving forward”.
But even runner ducks know that it’s the first step that is the important one. And sometimes one can be a bit hesitant about that first step. But once the duck is in full flo … in full run there is little that can stop them: Lead by their beak the rest of the duck just follows.
I was so enamoured with the runner duck and the idea of the runner duck that I didn’t notice that the photo wasn’t SQUARE! When Margaret pointed it out I tried to fix it but realised that there was no way that the original shot could be shown square, I’d either lose the head or the foot and both seemed kind of essential. As a cop out I am not showing two squares.
