We rode up and walked down (I’d have preferred the other way round but I was overruled by the [lazy] youngsters). My husband who has a dud knee (actually he has a wellworking metal knee and now another dud knee) decided to ride down as well. He needed a glas of liquor when we met again at the bottom.
It does look it’s right out of the past, fabulous chairs. Good one for Pull up a Seat too 😀

The moment I saw the seats, I thought of the desk chairs that were popular in primary schools of the time. I guess that dates me. >grin<
