The German idiom: Even a blind chicken will occasionally find a grain of corn has the same meaning as the English one about every dog having its day.
NB: I have no idea if this chicken is actually blind but the whole time I was watching it kept its eyes squeezed tightly shut. Maybe it only had a bad hangover and the sun was just too bright.

You think so? Maybe she’s just old? It was in park, near a playground (just to look at, not to be touched or fed).
