    1. It’s true for German. Not for French (all one syllable with the pronunciation of quattre depending on the dialect). Not for Afrikaans (nine = nege has two). Not true for Italian. I guess also not for Spanish and Portuguese. Not true for Zulu. And this is where my language skills are ended.
