A bit more than 4 years ago I met a new friend: Wynona Rider who since then has been my trusted steed.

This week on Thursday we made it to 8888 shared kilometres on the road. I thought I show you the exact spot where the reading hit the last eight (btw: it was so much more satisfying in years gone by to watch a number roll up, particularly from 9 to 0, e.g. 9999 to 10000). Wynona’s frame is German and her gears are, of course, Japanese. But 8 is the lucky number in Chinese culture so for the moment I consider her Chinese.
