Picking favourites. Mhm. I don’t like it. It’s like having to choose which of your children you like best. I gave it a try, though. Not sure, if these are my best. It’s a few I like. Here goes.
Let’s start small. A bee on a decorative leek. I’ll never get tired trying to get a good pic of those hard workers.A frog. I like how it’s eye is reflected in the water but also how the fingers can still be seen. Also it looks so perky and alert.Cats usually don’t pose for me. I get the look over the shoulder before they disapppear. This one worked. This pic is from the Frankfurt zoo allowing me to get close to a pelican settling down for a good night’s rest. I surprised myself at how many bird photos I took. We are lucky here with rather large stork colonies. Guinea fowls have always been my favourites with their speckled feathers in black and white contrasting with the red wattles.I took many photos of flowers (having the luck to live near several botanical gardens). This magnolia was a first try with lighting. Two castles and a medieval tower, always a good motive. This day the weather was obliging.Another attempt at taking a pic with a vignette effect rather than photo editing later. It looks like a perfect mediterranean sunset even though it was sunrise.A glorious blaze to round of my “possibly best of”.
Wow! Your macros are stunning and rich in detail. I also liked the landscape photos. The whole gallery is gorgeous! I also have a hard time picking favorites.
I have no issue selecting favourites…! You might have be reluctant to pick but these are wonderful. I’ll have to show the frog to my son, I know he’ll love it too.

I am so glad you like my frog. My best frog photo is from 2017 – same pond, different frog. Although it could be absolutely the same one.

What a nice variety of interesting photos you have here. I have no problem with choosing favourites, though it may not be the same twice in a row.
