Many Cute Little Polyesterlies Died

to make our winter fleeces. I don’t know how many of these sweaters were bought. Far too many and far too many in XL, XXL and XXXL – because even ten years after the first ones we still had quite a few left but only in elephant sizes. They are 100% synthetic (which is why we wear them on top of more natural materials). But they are great sweaters, warm, thick, and they can even withstand a bit of rain. And because we all have at least one of these in the same blue shade we ended up having our names embroidered on them so we can tell them apart.

  1. Have to love people who do bulk purchasing without and idea of the people they are buying for. Perhaps you should get an XXXL and use it as a tent when camping 😁

Thanks for joining in Elke 😀

    1. My husband wanted to add something. He wasn’t involved in the buying but his thinking is quite accurate: The articles we buy for our running group are often sourced in Asia. And more often than not it is best to order a size or even two larger than what we would buy in Europe. This time, though, the company knew the market.

      1. I agree with that. I have clothes that are a size larger than I always buy, even some cheap sports type shoes. Australia is one of China’s major importers for cheap crap plastic stuff
