Autolevel in Photoscape lifted the fog.

Monochrome didn’t take much away from the photo.

This is in sepia but only on the outside (a feature called Area (out of focus) in Photoscape).

Here I wrapped the anglers in cellophane wrap, also Photoscape.

Wow. What amazing effects. To my eye the monochrome and sepia really suit the classic nature of the photo. I confess that I rather like the fog in the original. It is impressive how much detail came out of the fog.

Removing the fog made the photo so different. The B&W wasn’t any different except for the fog. Cellophane is an interesting effect
