The water reservoir Marbach Stausee was built in the late 1970s. Originally conceived for water management it is now used as a recreational area – swimming, boating, wind surfing, sailing, angling and hiking is possible.

Thanks. Glad you like it. I don’t particularly like swimming in it (green muck and no shower facilities … but hiking and just dipping the feet in – great)

I agree, they need a shower to make swimming safe with the muck in the water.
