I did. At the time, I didn’t really know any museum/gallery etiquette and I wasn’t very familiar with my camera but I had to photograph the van Gogh orginals!
Most times you can take photos in some galleries and they have security usually. I can’t remember the gallery in Europe where I can almost constantly hear “No photos” being called out
