I am normally a wimp as well. But I’m also a tightwad. And after realising that I had paid 56 Euro for an afternoon of watching other people and waiting and the additional pleasure of being the designated driver, I decided to throw caution in the wind and get my money’s worth. I went on five rides and I would have even gone on the big rollercoaster in the end but the park closed (such a bummer 😉 ),
I never liked these rides, when I was forced to go on some (because the boys were little and needed an adult to ride with them, and my husband being absolutely useless in this regard) I usually felt very queasy (before, during, and after). But I was surprised that this did not happen last Saturday. Before yes , but not during and after. Maybe age is desentizing me.
It was – to my surprise – eerily relaxing. And the view was great. To both side of the Upper Rhine Valley, from the hills to the Odenwald to the hills of the Pfälzerwald. 😊
