It’s what our (oldschool) teacher suggested before the final exams to calm the nerves and sleep better. — on topic: one common name in English is “blind worm” similar to the German “Blindschleiche”. German Wikipedia explains this with the middle high German word for shiny. The English version explains that it’s referring to the small eyes. Go figure.
I am not drinking alcohol. Day 16, but who’s counting. Cutting back on spending, cost of living 🙄 as well as health. Dr’s orders but there’s nothing medically wrong with just my girth has surpassed my age 😂

Alcohol free beer has the same effect. Apparently, it’s the hops. Hop into bed! — I took a whisker out of Garfield’s book: I am not overweight. I’m undertall.
