I tried to replace it but this particular small mouse is not sold anymore.

So a couple of weeks back, I told about my plight on social media, on a local “free your stuff” site where one can give stuff away or ask for particular items. And unexpectedly I was contacted by woman who said that she still had the same mouse, hanging from a pencil, and she was happy to part with it.
So, one day in early August, I collected my new mouse. Which was the same mouse. But not the identical mouse.

And one day in late August, I went out and took some new pictures of my mouse.

That is one sweet mouse Elke. I can see why you would like another even if it’s not identical 🐭

It’s the Gruffalo mouse. One of my favourite models.

It was. It’s one of social media’s functions which I really like, it works in both directions. I’ve given stuff away I wanted to get rid off, I’ve been given stuff I really needed (or wanted) and I could help others with things I hardly or never used.
