In English, shade and shadow are two different things. In German, they are both the same: Schatten.


And in the search for shade, I had to include this shot. He managed to get his head and upper body in the the shade, but not his legs. I tried to make it square but I admit defeat, the shade photo doesn’t work as a square, however, as a shadow photo it does.
