Not planned but fresh of the SD-card from today. I took my class for an outing today. Primary location was the local library and then I took them on a walk to various parks in the area. There are two notable Ginkgotrees, one 135, the other one 185 years old. But today it weren’t the trees itself (impressive all year round, glorious in autumn yellow), but the leaves on the ground with dew drops on them. And the little shadows of those droplets.

So pretty! And they do look like little diamonds. Or pearls–as in the first photo. Beautiful snaps, Elke.

Thanks. Although now I’m sitting here trying not to jug down hot cocoa or glühwein because I feel frozen from the inside out.

goodness what a good spot, and to think you went the extra mile and spotted them in the freezing cold too – beyond impressive
