    1. It’s a UNESCO world heritage site. It was built in Charlemagne’s reign, in the 8th century. It is the best kept Carolingian building in middle/northern Europe. The entrance (the one with the pretty decorations) is called “king’s hall” and it’s purpose is not really known.
