Half-timbered houses use shapes for their design. Modern half-timbered houses just as much as ancient ones.

A mural created by simple shapes, reminiscent of a game we used to have in nursery school (see below).
And then for something completely different – a piece of art at the “Skulpturenwiese” on the Tromm, a hill in the Odenwald.

The design here was a collaboration between nature and breeder.

Maybe he is thinking deeply about that question, with furrowed brow – or rather dotted and striped brow.

And it’s a relatively new house (hence the bricks between the wood) but one sees them occasionally.
