The relatively young German right wing (and nationalist, some call it fascist) party calls itself the alternative for Germany (AfD).
Nationalism is no alternative.

Unfortunately, although it is not as centred on one person, it seems to be in our future. What is weird, just like the orange menace who isn’t anything like the values he espouses, the head of this unspeakable party (patriarchal, anti feminist, anti foreigner, anti LGBTQ+, anti rich people syphoning money to foreign countries etc.) is a woman, who lives in Switzerland, with her female life-partner who is of Indian origin. You can’t make this stuff up.
