I make earrings out of bottle caps. I need little pliers for the metal rings and earring holders but my special tool is the black hole punch for the little holes in the caps.
If the bottle cap itself seems less than happy it’s not because of the punch (I believe it’s almost painless) but it screams because it’s from a Belgian beer and now the bottle is empty.

Since I never go to bed at night with earrings, it’s routine to take them out. But I have taken a nap in the afternoon with them in my ears and yes! it can wake you up with a jolt.

I’m glad you like them. I have many many many… and Belgian beer seems to have the best bottlecaps (one brewery has little garden gnomes on them!)

Your poor Belgian bottle caps—first they’re emptied of their noble beer, now they’re pierced for fashion. At least your punch is merciful; the real tragedy is the existential hangover.
