Or: Veronica, spring has arrived.

Either way, this plant with the tiny flowers is called veronica. I am always happy to see them. I take pictures everytime and I hardly ever get one in focus. This time is worked and I’m happy that it turned out to be three of them.

Thanks, almost too late. Spring is really here. Last week the trees were still bear (bar those flowering) but today I was driving around a lot on roads with forest on both sides and all the trees are in light green.

You do know the song, I guess: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vB854732lzA&list=RDvB854732lzA&start_radio=1 And the suggestive line: Veronika, der Spargel wächst.

I didn’t know the song and didn’t understand the lyrics but sounded like a fun song 😄. Thanks for sharing!

It’s basically “spring has sprung”, also in relationships. Hence the Spargel-line is actually quite naughty and suggestive, particularly for the time (late 1920s, early 1930s). If you get the chance watch the movie about the Comedian Harmonists, “The Harmonists” with a plethora of German TV and theatre stars.
