Sounds like a good plan of action. I am guessing there are not as many accidents when these laws are keeping the drivers well rested.

The No Sunday law is enforced in France too. But I guess the tachograph sees to drivers obeying all the time/mileage rules.

Yes, the hours are controlled by a kind of black box. The no-driving-on-Sundays is more obvious – it’s difficult to be insconspicuous as a truck on the road among smalish passenger vehicles.
