    1. Can’t. ‘cos ours stopped moving a week ago and has already been scrapped. 😭😭😭 What shocked me most is is that up to that point it gave no warning that the motor was coming to the end of it’s life.

      1. Yes, my trusted steed. As long as it’s in town, I do anyway. But this weekend we had to collect our grandson for his one monthly visit. It’s 1 hour to 90 minutes drive away (depending on the time of day and the construction works that seem to be sprouting like mushrooms in this area). My sister was kind enough to drive us because with the train it would have taken us close to double the time (provided the connections word) and what is worse: no trains that direction on the weekend after 5 pm. Some regions are better connected than others with public transport.

      2. Yes, we do that mostly anyway. I go shopping for little things, there are enough shops not far away from our house (mind you, they’d be too far away for my husband.

      3. No, wrong way round. He has had both knees fixed (one more than 10 years ago, the other one last year). He can walk (he doesn’t even limp 😉 ). But if he walks for more than, say half an hour, he pays for it with pain during the next 3, 4, 5 days. So he avoids it. It’s annoying and it ‘s not really nice but it is not properly handicapped or ill.

    1. BTW: The car dealership which diagnosed the dead motor wanted 100 Euro for us to pay to have the car scrapped. Our son phoned around and sold the car for 500 Euro to a scrapyard. They even collected it.
