Monochrome Madness: Flowing Water
Photographing flowing water is the bane of my photographic life. It just doesn’t look as I want it to look. In colour, it’s usually okay if it’s not the focal point. The flaws come more into focus in monochrome.
Having said that, Dale from The Cosmic Photo Challenge asked for shots from the end of the day and my days ended with watering the garden. I started playing around with the camera and the water. Water from a water sprinkler is flowing, isn’t it?

You’re right, they look great in black and white, good choice, I especially like the one against the dark background

What a wonderful subject choice Elke. The water against the dark background really makes the water stand out

I wasn’t fishing for compliments. This was my cop out from rivers, brooks, and such.

I love what you chose to do for this, water from a sprinkler is wonderful, especially as a kid in summer.
