Yesterday evening I went for a walk, closer to sunset, and encountered some giant (a bit exaggeration) insects flying around, some coming too close! So yes, better rusty than frisky 😅.
If they had those long legs they were probably Rheinschnaken. They can’t bite or sting, they prefer nectar. But they are intimidating and have an erratic flight pattern.
