Definitely a brain in that hare but I can’t tell how big. I was amazed that he let me get so close (a few paces away of course, I have a zoom lens, but still …).
And then he noticed me and decided to hotfoot it out of there.

It helps to have a bike and going out at dusk … They might be there at dawn as well but I wouldn’t know. 😄

Both dawn AND dusk seem good. That’s when I tend to see them. But Close Encounters like this? Not a hope!
