The secret life of my rescue orchids

Let’s draw away the veil on my orchids.

Yikes! The orchid monster raises its head!

Let’s calm down and play “still lifes with orchid” for a bit.

Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Who’s there?

Anybody else? … oh. Hi there!

But have you ever asked how orchids get their beautiful colours?

Of course, orchid painters. How else?

    1. They were all rescued out of the garbage can in our garage (we used to have a very wasteful neighbour). They lived their best life with me, which they showed by flowering profusely. But every now and again a bloom snapped off (I blame Henry, sometimes he doesn’t watch where he is zooming).

      1. I’m not good with plants. But I learned about orchids is: location, location, location. Brightish but out of direct sunlight. And they keep growing without much care.
