I had planned something else for today but when I visited my sister today another visitor captivated our attention. She sat in the middle of the stone verandah and was caught in a glas to be safely transported to a flower bed. The card underneath was barely readable but with the art deco filter it became very visible (it’s something about a 44th wedding anniversary which is ironic because it is my sister’s 60th anniversary today. Anyway, I wanted to get away from the Meta filters but this one was just too good.

I tried several filters of this particular shot and this is the one where the head came out the most distinct. I’ve got a few other shots (all with my phone because I didn’t have my camera with me) and it some the shadow is really impressive, more so than the actual animal.
