Does chirping help?
I have many pictures of bird feeders – but all without guests. Not quite true: Ragtag Daily Prompt: Feeder
Reputedly Germany’s ugliest city
I haven’t found any uglier corners here in Ludwigshafen than in other cities in Germany. This is the view from the Berliner Platz, the public transport hub with busses, trams, and trains intersecting towards the church St. Ludwig. It’s been edited with the Meta AI “paper” filter.

Asterix, Obelix and Idéfix
otherwise known as Dogmatix.
That’s the 3D filter (thanks to Meta). The photo is a normal 2D picture of my favourite cartoon characters which decorate my pencil box.
PS: Something doesn’t seem right with the fingers on Obelix’ left hand.
I’ll probably try out some of my own drawings next.

The first red of the season
The leaves of sumac trees are the earliest to turn red.I took this photo a few years ago in September in the Luisenpark in Mannheim, a rather large park which was the site of the Bundesgartenschau in 1975 and again in 2023, This is a biennal horticultural show which changes venues. My photo is from before 2023 in the “old” park but I don’t know how much the lake was changed for ’23.
