Zu alt, um nur zu spielen. Zu jung, um ohne Wunsch zu sein.

All Washed Out

We were at the zoo over the weekend. The brightest animals were the flamingoes.

For the PPA Challenge I photographed a few kitchen gadgets. This is Tom, the tea bag holder.

Every day I am passing the local cemetery on my way to and from school, and every day I sneak a peek over the wall and there are four different colouring watering cans hanging next to the tap.

And then, the orchids are flowering.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Drain the Colours

Predominantly Blue

in Seckenheim

Traditionally houses weren’t blue in Gemany. But half-timbered works well in blue. As do shingles, which are traditional in the Odenwald.

Am I Seeing Pink Elephants?

Well, actually only one. In Michelstadt is Koziol, a company which makes cute plastic gadgets for the kitchen (and is being highly successful at it, their products can be found in every major supermarket in Germany, and some can be even found in my own kitchen). The company put this life-size pink elephant at the site of their old office and factory building.

Although my kitchen is not public I thought I add my Koziol menagerie (this is not an add because most of these thingamabobs are out of stock and have been replaced by different designs; which show they last, I guess) :
