We found this little guy hanging in the woods.
What Will the Future Hold?
“No one was badly hurt by the fire, but it went on for some hours, doing a fair amount of damage in the process.”

“The instigator of the fire lurked on a nearby hilltop and watched the blaze. He was tall, thin, and a Duke of Hell. It was the last thing that needed to be done before his return to the nether regions, and he had done it.”

You’ll Never Walk Alone
I kept the most important ingredient to a good walk until this last square: a good companion.
Now I am not per se a dog person but I appreciate a good fellow by my side for a walk. This is Luna who has only lately joined our pack. At least at the beginning of the trail she is the keenest of us. So eager in fact that I could only get blurred pictures because she is pulling so hard.
But Luna comes with the promise that she stays by our side. Shake her paw on it!

Not the End
My walk was interrupted by the train crossing – but not ended!
And squares haven’t ended yet either. One more day to walk!

A Little Hidden Lake
One of the things I like about our running (and these days more often than not walking) group is that we get to go to places that I normally would not find on my own.
Like this lake near Teplice in the Czech Republic. Our group never met anyone at all while we circled the lake and finally decided to jump in, even though we hadn’t brought our costumes.
