I’d Quote BB

if I hadn’t checked it.

“Where right becomes wrong, resistance becomes duty.” is often attributed to Bertolt Brecht, the German playwright and theatre director and poet but according to research it is not (source: Deutsche Welle).

With the internet and now AI, it becomes more and more important to be conscientious. Even though FB has stopped doing it and other people like Musk and Trump don’t want to have done.

Grappling for a Hold

This eagle sitting on a sphere (not a world sphere just a ball) is watching over a war memorial for the fallen of the Franco-Prussian war of 1870/71. He doesn’t look happy maybe because he was a visionary seeing more wars to come.

Upper Flakeycreek

No, the proper name of the location is not that but it’s a literal translation. I was getting my daily walk yesterday afternoon in by driving into the hills and just before the sun went down I was rewarded with that view.

On the Road

I’m used to seeing vintage cars, particularly really old ones like this one, at museums or possibly car shows, so I was startled when I saw this one nonchalantly pulling up at a petrol station and being filled up with normal petrol or possibly diesel. BTW: The H, the last letter on the car license plate, stands for “historic” and is reserved for vintage cars (provided they are maintained more or less like the original ) and it has advantages regarding insurance and tax purposes and I also think exemptions regarding emissions.
