You’ve heard of the largest and oldest Oktoberfest of the world (–> Bavaria). This button is from the largest winefest of the world. This button is from 2012 and it reads: “I am so very nervous and excited! Oh yeah, it’s the Wurstmarkt in Bad Dürkheim!” As you probably guessed, it’s not happening this year but I’m already looking forward to the next one, whenever it will happen.

There are thirteen years between the two sets of pictures. One set shows two brothers, the other a father and his son.
Axel Scheffler was in our town reading from The Gruffalo and other books he has illustrated with the author Julia Donaldson.
The pages of the book were shown on the electronic canvas behind him.
He then proceeded to use it as a traditional canvas to show how he draws the Gruffalo.
