When I take photos on my phone (incidentally, this one is called Gladys) I need to attach it with a cable to the pc to store it without loss of quality. I store all my photos on the computer and I edit only on the computer. But occasionally I’m in a hurry then I send a photo to myself in a messenger programme which I can access by phone and by computer, and then I upload it and store it. It’s cumbersome and a pain but for me it works. This particular photo is of a piece of art standing in a hospital lobby which I took this morning.

And just btw there is a German word for “to upload” but nobody uses it. We just use the English term, however we use a weird German grammar construction (it sounds awful): Ich uploade das mal schnell. Du musst das uploaden. Sie hat das geuploadet.
