When I first saw the prompt from FOWC with Fandango: Agape this morning I dismissed it immediately. The Christian concept of “agape” (according to en.wikipedia t”he highest form of love, charity” and “the love of God for [human beings] and of [human beings] for God”) just is not anything I’d be interested in. — Of course, I realised that my first job after university had kicked in when I worked for two retired ministers, both involved in the fight against apartheid in South Africa. One of them was a well-known theologian in the field of liberation theology. – Sometimes, life is a lot less complicated than what it appears to be at first glance.
